- Prepare your little skier for ski school and explain how much fun it will be
- Arrive in good time at the meeting point where lessons start, and come back on time to collect your child when lessons end
- If for any reason you are up to 10 minutes late for the start of a lesson, our staff will take your child to their group on the slope; if you are more than 10 minutes late, it will be your responsibility to find the group on the slope
- Our ski school's policy is SAFETY, FUN AND LEARNING, which means learning and progressing in a safe and fun environment. Every child is different and has their own learning pace, so our instructors tailor the training to each child's needs and support them accordingly. Progress in skiing varies and is complex, so it is not unusual for a child to stay at the same level for two years in a row – which of course doesn't mean your child isn't progressing; they will simply move through the next level faster.
- Depending on the weather, dress your child in warm clothes, an under-helmet cap and goggles, and bring an extra pair of gloves, tissues…
- Take your child to the toilet before lessons
- Trust the instructor (please don't coach your child or teach them to ski yourself), respect the instructor and kindly leave your child alone with the instructor during lessons and the lunch break.
- Tell the instructor anything they should know about your child (e.g. allergies…)
- Don't impose your ambitions on your children – support your child no matter what
- Be aware of children's fears
- Actual time on the snow will vary depending on the weather and on the ability and stamina of the group.
- Don't “push” your child into the sport with the aim of making them a world champion – children should first fall in love with it
- Triglav Insurance:
- By paying for lessons you accept the Statement and Consent on the safety of service users and compensation for damages.
- When you collect your child at the end of the lesson, be sure to let the instructor know!
- If you plan to ski on your own while your child is in a ski lesson, a children's group lesson is recommended. The advantage of a group lesson is that the children are supervised during the lunch break. You can also collect your child during the lunch break, have lunch together as a family and then bring them back for the afternoon lesson.
IMPORTANT
If you are not registered and have not settled your payment at the ski school booking office:
- you have no right to complain about the quality of the ski lesson;
- you are not insured against accidents;
- you deprive yourself of the chance to enjoy skiing in line with safety and professional standards.
